Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry (Honours) is a multidisciplinary degree that provides graduates with unique skills by bringing together studies in contemporary biology, biochemistry, pharmacology and essential chemistry. It encompasses all aspects of new drug design and development, from concept to clinic stages.
Many steps are involved from the design and synthesis of novel drug candidates, to their biochemical effects, testing regimes, and regulatory and ethical considerations. In your honours year, you will complete a supervised research project.
