Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is a 1-year program where you'll learn how to plan and conduct a research project with a resultant manuscript written for publication in a journal. You'll have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to public health research and establish your skills as a researcher, as well as enhance your professional reputation. Through your research, you'll push the boundaries of the discipline and develop your independence, self-reliance and skills in critical and analytical thinking, writing and problem-solving. You'll work closely with internationally respected researchers and academics and learn how to identify, analyse and synthesise relevant scientific literature, along with gaining an understanding of the variety of research methods used in health research.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Prerequisites:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below)
- Have secured an honours project and supervisor approved by the Head of School
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
