Bachelor of Engineering Technology

Nationally Recognised Higher Education

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is a versatile degree with options to major in traditional engineering disciplines or pursue a career as an aircraft maintenance engineer through completion of the aircraft maintenance (avionics) major. Choosing the civil, electrical or mechanical majors allows you to build in-depth knowledge of engineering concepts and be highly trained in software, simulating modelling and the ability to assist engineers with the technology design and systems management in an engineering project.

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is designed to develop your skills and enable you to combine an understanding of engineering concepts with modern technology. Choose between major options, allowing you to pursue a career as an Engineering Technologist in traditional engineering disciplines or an aircraft maintenance engineer.

If you choose to study the civil, electrical or mechanical majors, your education and training will equip you with the skills to innovatively apply, modify and adapt engineering practices to meet engineering challenges and problems for communities, society and the environment. Tailor your course by choosing from a wide range of streams to suit your interests and career goals.
