This online degree will prepare you for a career in the diverse community services industry. You’ll be qualified to manage a range of responsibilities while helping people who are disadvantaged and highly vulnerable.
If you're driven to empower diverse communities, are passionate about social justice and want to challenge the social structures that maintain disadvantage, then this qualification can help you achieve your goals. Graduates from this course of study are not eligible to register with the Australian Association of Social Workers on the basis of this qualification alone.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent OR
A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent OR
A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification OR
Successful completion of at least one year full-time (or equivalent) study in a course at a higher education institution
During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
- Any additional evidence your work placement provider requires
