Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThis is a flexible course designed to help you reach your potential and gain in-depth knowledge and skills of one or more areas of business. You will develop decision-making and leadership skills, which are essential in a future marketplace and benefit from exposure to industry through field trips, internships, work-related tasks, guest lectures and networking events.
In your final year you’ll undertake a capstone experience. You’ll begin by applying for the Bachelor of Commerce. In your first year, you’ll study business core units, select your major and choose customisation options that complement your major.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Recently left high school
- Completed year 12 in Australia or overseas in the past two years, or
- Completed TAFE or VET studies in the past two years.
Work and life experience
You have left secondary education more than two years ago (i.e. who are not classified as recent secondary education applicants) and have not undertaken vocational education training (VET) or higher education study since then.
TAFE or apprenticeship
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study are those whose highest level of study since leaving secondary education is a VET course. This includes study at a public TAFE or other VET provider, whether a qualification was completed or not. Applicants with VET study may have other qualifications such as a Year 10 or Year 12 secondary school certificate.
