Nationally Recognised Higher EducationYou will examine the world’s most influential religious traditions and develop critical methods for analysing them. Courses in this major cover the history of religions and religious thought, western and eastern religious traditions, sociology and ethnography of religion, contemporary religious movements, and the relationship between science and religion. You'll be prepared for work in areas including education and academia, health and social welfare, law and justice or even broadcasting. You could study World Religions & Spiritualities, Belief & Unbelief, The History of the Supernatural and, Islam and Society

Our subject prerequisites are listed as Queensland Year 12 General subjects, but you can also meet them by passing equivalent subjects through:
- Australian high school, including Queensland Senior, interstate Year 12 or International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Overseas high school or International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Tertiary study, including university subjects, and bridging and preparatory programs./li>
- Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent)
- General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C)
- IB 24.5 & AQF Level 7
