Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Academic entry requirements
- Minimum ATAR requirements (including adjustment factors) OR
- Successful completion of two university-level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies OR
- A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification OR 50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification OR
- Successful completion of a Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. OR
- Two years full time (or equivalent) work experience that meets the following requirement: the ability to demonstrate the development of literacy, analytical skills, and social-historical knowledge
Language requirement
You can normally meet the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for entry to most Charles Sturt University courses by doing one of the following:
- providing evidence of having completed a sufficient standard of study in English
- for undergraduate courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.0
- no individual score below 5.5
- for postgraduate coursework courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.0
- no individual score below 6.0
- for higher degree by research courses have obtained at Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:
- a minimum overall score of 6.5
- no individual score below 6.0
