You'll get a solid grounding in science fundamentals, including biology, chemistry and animal sciences, taught by our leading academics and industry experts. You'll also delve deeper into discipline-specific topics such as plant and soil science, animal nutrition, pest control, animal health and biochemistry.
Throughout your degree, you'll explore the issues that are set to dominate the future of agriculture, including unpredictable water supply, climate change, food security, environmental impacts of agriculture, and sustainable cropping and grazing systems. You'll get a true, practical understanding of these challenges through real-world case studies.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
ATAR/selection rank threshold: 58.20
Prerequisites
- VCE: Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.
- VCE: Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.
- HSC: Two of any mathematics (Band 2).
- HSC: One of English Standard, English Advanced (Band 2), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 3).
