Archaeological Science Major
Examine key developments in human evolution, civilisation and our relationship with the world around us. You’ll develop and apply your knowledge through a combination of theory-based and practical learning – including lab and field-based research projects. By completing these projects, you'll gain experience in surveying, excavation and scientific analysis.

Domestic Students
- Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) with ATAR 93.00 or equivalent AND
- Subject Prerequisites:
General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C)
Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C)
Two of Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Specialist Mathematics or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C), at least one of which must be Biology, Chemistry or Physics. - Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) or equivalent AND
- IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 87.00 or PTE score of 64.00 or its equivalent AND
- Subject Prerequisites:
General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C)
Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C)
Two of Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Specialist Mathematics or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C), at least one of which must be Biology, Chemistry or Physics. - Student Visas: International students who are accepted into full-time study in the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) are eligible to apply for an Australian student visa (subclass 500).
