Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This skill set is for people working in various care and support roles in the community services industry who wish to develop skills in supporting people to self-administer medication. This course is suited to individuals that hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher.

On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in an area that involves the provision of direct care or support to clients, or are working in various care and support roles in different health care settings, community, aged care, and disability services sectors and want to learn how to assist clients with their medications e.g. Certificate III in Health Services Assistant, Certificate III Individual Support, Certificate III Community Services
- Applicants are required to be aged 18 years or over
- Prospective students must be currently employed (min 20 hours) in either the health, community services industry, aged care or disability services.
If a candidate believes there would be a disclosable issue on their national police check, a confidential conversation will be required prior to enrolment to determine suitability for work.
