Assist Clients with Medication
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Assisting clients with medication is an important aspect of many community service roles, including support workers, and carers. Our accredited and nationally recognised HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication course is specifically designed for the community services sector and will equip you with the knowledge and skills to prepare and provide medication assistance and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer medication.
After completing this nationally accredited unit, you will be able to administer and assist clients with medication under both state and federal government guidelines. Adding this skill to your toolkit will enhance your ability to deliver comprehensive care and could expand your employment prospects.
