Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to install a basic alarm system from the sensors through to the alarm panel and control pad. Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Successful completion of Year 10 or its equivalent (Proof required)
- A current Construction Induction certificate (NSW WorkCover White Card or equivalent from another State or Territory) (proof required)

About Electrical Trades College
Established in 2018, Electrical Trades College (ETC) is a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Revesby, NSW, proudly serving the entire state of New South Wales. Built on a foundation of expertise, professionalism, and a deep passion for the electrotechnology and complementary industries, ETC has earned its reputation as a trusted name in training and education.
Since its inception, ETC has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training. From 2018 to 2022, the college focused on providing tailored programs such as competency-based training and assessments, gap training, and short courses for existing workers. In 2023, ETC achieved a significant milestone by securing a NSW Smart & Skilled Contract, enabling the delivery of apprenticeship training. Additionally, ETC introduced specialised programs for overseas-qualified electricians seeking an Australian qualification.
