Agricultural Chemical Skill Set
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This skill set describes the skills and knowledge required to transport, handle, store, prepare, and apply chemicals. This AusChem-certified Skills Set provides the required training for many farm industry Quality Assurance programs and is necessary to apply for the Victorian Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP).
It covers the transportation, handling, storage, safe preparation and application of liquid chemical mixes and/or granular products for the control of weeds, pests and diseases across a range of industry sectors.
Students gain knowledge and skills through theory as well as hands on practical experience during their scheduled class time.
