Advanced Rigging Course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Advanced Rigging course is designed to provide participants with the highest level of proficiency in rigging operations, encompassing advanced techniques and specialised rigging tasks required for complex industrial projects. These include rigging gin poles, shear legs, flying foxes and cableways, guyed derrick, and structures, fabricated hung scaffolds, and suspended scaffolds.
Throughout the Advanced Rigging course, participants will engage in practical hands-on training, simulations, and case studies to reinforce their learning and develop their proficiency in advanced rigging techniques. Emphasis will be placed on safety protocols, risk assessment, and compliance with industry standards and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient execution of rigging operations.
By the end of the course, participants will have demonstrated advanced rigging skills and techniques, positioning them for success in obtaining relevant licensing and pursuing career opportunities in complex rigging projects across various industries.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Current RI class HRWL.
- 18 years of age.
- Proficient (read and write) with basic English.
- Three (3) forms of eligible EOI.
