Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) introduces students to the concept of good building design and its pivotal role in creating a new residential, industrial or commercial building.
In this course, you’ll go beyond simply drawing a set of plans – create your own building project using the latest in 3D virtual and construction technology. You will gain specialist skills in design, learn how to produce a set of quality plans that can be used to construct a building, become familiar with 2D and 3D software and develop business management skills.
This course is recognised by the Victorian Building Authority as the educational requirement to become a drafting practitioner.
