Work at a commercial water treatment plant with the Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment (Drinking Water) (NWP30315. This is a nationally recognised qualification that can be completed on-campus or as an apprenticeship or traineeship. The course covers: water industry standards, guidelines, legislation, and environmental concerns — as well as sampling and testing, blue-green algae outbreaks, fluoride, iron and manganese removal, sedimentation control, coagulation and flocculation processes, and desalination.
