The VU21800 Provide First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis unit equips you with the skills to assist a person experiencing an anaphylactic reaction until medical help arrives. This unit covers the use of adrenaline auto-injecting devices, recognition, management, prevention, and risk minimisation strategies for allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. It also provides the knowledge to develop and implement a management plan to reduce the risk of severe reactions in individuals diagnosed with anaphylaxis.
