The MSMBLIC001 Licence to Operate a Standard Boiler includes boiler start-up, handover, monitoring, shutdown, and storage. It covers preparation for inspection procedures per manufacturer recommendations, identifying maintenance requirements, and relevant risk control measures. The course applies to boilers with fixed and modulating combustion controls, single heat sources, and excludes advanced boilers. It also specifies safe operation for boilers without advanced features like air pre-heaters or economisers, and without simultaneous dual fuel firing capability.
