The TLILIC0019 Licence to Operate a Portal Boom Crane unit prepares you to safely operate a portal boom crane mounted on a portal frame supported by runways. It meets the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High-Risk Work and provides the skills and knowledge needed to obtain a High Risk Licence (HRWL) to operate a portal boom crane. This unit covers planning, preparation, operation, and packing up of the crane.
