The Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Radiography and Oral Health Promotion Specialisation) is for students seeking careers as Dental Assistants, Dental Radiographers or Oral Health Advisors. During the course students will begin with the basics of assisting with the operations of a dental practice: managing appointments, infection control, customer service and working in community health. The knowledge is then expanded so students can learn how to implement oral hygiene programs and safely produce prescribed dental radiographic images.
