Transport Scheduler

A Transport Scheduler coordinates timetables and operations plans for transport systems. You might create schedules for a fleet of vehicles, for staff operating transport equipment or for a multi-system transport operation. Transport Schedulers ensure times are suitable for all parties involved and make sure transport systems are meeting their expected timeframes for service.

Transport Schedulers should have excellent problem solving abilities and be able to work out solutions to issues quickly. It’s important you can work as part of a team and communicate clearly to people from a range of backgrounds. Transport Schedulers must be organised and able to manage their time well.
