Shopfitter

A Shopfitter builds shelves, counters and other fittings for a range of commercial spaces. You might specialise in retail stores, restaurants and hospitality venues or office areas. Shopfitters take measurements and draw up plans. You’ll build components and fit them in spaces as required.

Shopfitters should have good technical skills and excellent attention to detail. It’s important you can follow instructions and work with drawings and specifications. Shop Fitters must be able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team. You’ll need to be able to manage your time well and follow correct procedures.
