Roof Tiler

A Roof Tiler finishes roofs with tiles or other materials such as shingles and slates. You’ll work from drawings and specifications and liaise with property owners to determine required materials. Roof Tilers prepare roof surfaces and secure roofing underlays. You’ll cover areas with tiles, ensure surfaces are secure and check for leaking areas.

Roof Tilers should have good attention to detail and be comfortable working with building plans. It’s important you are safety focused and can produce quality work. Roof Tilers may work as part of a team and you’ll need to be able to communicate well with colleagues and clients. You’ll need to be able to manage your time well in this role.
