Respiratory Therapist

A Respiratory Therapist assists patients with breathing disorders and lung conditions. You might work in hospitals, clinics, or specialised care centres. Respiratory Therapists focus on assessing respiratory conditions, administering treatments such as oxygen therapy and nebulisation, and educating patients about breathing techniques. You’ll monitor patient progress, manage respiratory equipment, and work closely with doctors to develop and implement treatment plans.

Respiratory Therapists play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life. You’ll need to have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and support throughout their treatment.
