Power Plant Operator

A Power Plant Operator controls and maintains machinery and equipment used to generate electric power. You might work in a variety of power plants, including coal, gas, hydroelectric, or renewable energy facilities. Power Plant Operators monitor power generation and distribution, ensuring systems are functioning safely and efficiently. You’ll perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to minimise downtime and ensure continuous power supply.
