Policy Analyst

A Policy Analyst provides advice and recommendations on policies affecting government departments, commercial businesses and not-for-profit organisations. You might review current policies and analyse current social and economic issues. Policy Analysts may liaise with relevant stakeholders and develop proposed changes to current policies.

Policy Analysts should have excellent research skills and be able to understand the impact of a range of issues. You’ll need strong analytical skills and must be able to communicate well with people from a range of backgrounds. It’s important you can present your findings professionally and work within relevant procedures and deadlines.
