Marine Surveyor

A Marine Surveyor conducts inspections on a range of maritime vessels to ensure they meet safety regulations. You might look at various parts of a vessel and prepare a report on your findings. Marine Surveyors may examine a ship after it is built and may also perform scheduled checks to ensure vessels remain compliant.

Marine Surveyors should be safety focused and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll need a strong understanding of safety standards and regulations and must be able to communicate well with people from a range of backgrounds. Marine Surveyors should be organised and be able to manage their time well.
