Junior Interior Designer

A Junior Interior Designer assists with the styling of homes, businesses and retail spaces. You’ll work with clients to discuss ideas and come up with design concepts. Junior Interior Designers may prepare sketches or mood boards and liaise with builders and tradespeople. You might suggest ideas for colours and lighting and source decorative items such as furniture, soft furnishings and décor products.

Junior Interior Designers should have excellent communication skills. You’ll need to liaise with clients, colleagues and tradespeople so it’s important you can understand their needs and discuss ideas. You should be familiar with current trends and be able to come up with your own creative ideas. Junior Interior Designers should be good at solving problems and able to work with a budget.
