Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Managers ensure an organisation complies with state WHS legislation, Australian Safety Standards and other applicable safety laws. They develop the company’s risk management plan and emergency response procedures, then report compliance status to the General Manager or Executive team.

As a Health and Safety Manager you might be developing an incident reporting procedure, coordinating safety audits at regional job sites, consulting with key supervisors about hazard control measures, or managing emerging risks and hazards using workforce safety software.
