Ground Operations Supervisor

A Ground Operations Supervisor coordinates the activities of ground crew members at an airport or aerodrome. You’ll make sure ground crews are operating safely and efficiently and handle any problems that arise. Ground Operations Supervisors may respond to emergencies or security incidents and manage issues affecting aircraft, baggage and tarmacs.

Ground Operations Supervisors should be strong leaders and able to communicate clearly with staff and other stakeholders. You must be organised and able to manage several tasks at one time. Ground Operations Supervisors should be able to make decisions quickly and follow correct procedures. You should be able to remain calm during challenging situations and have excellent problem solving abilities.
