Graduate Architect

A Graduate Architect designs buildings and other structures in a range of settings. You’ll work with clients to develop sketches and concepts before preparing detailed plans and specifications. Graduate Architects might specialise in a particular type or style of building or you might do more varied work with a large range of clients. You’ll ensure the buildings you design adhere to current building codes and standards.

To be a Graduate Architect you’ll need to be a good problem solver and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll need to be able to liaise with clients and builders and should be able to meet your clients’ needs. Graduate Architects need to be organised and have good time management skills. It’s important that you can work independently but also be part of a larger team.
