Florist

A Florist creates flower arrangements for customers for a range of purposes. You might prepare individual bouquets of flowers or organise flowers for special occasions such as weddings or funerals. Florists choose flowers for their arrangements and may also use decorations such as ribbons. You’ll liaise with customers to discuss their needs and may arrange delivery of flowers to recipients.

Florists should be creative and have a strong knowledge of available flowers. You should be a good communicator and display strong customer service skills. Florists need to be organised and able to manage their time well. You may have to prioritise your tasks and should be able to work as part of a team.
