An Engineer Watchkeeper performs a range of duties on a ship or maritime vessel. You might ensure machinery and equipment is working effectively and attend to any necessary repairs or problem issues. Engineer Watchkeepers might conduct scheduled maintenance on marine equipment and organise replacement parts when needed.

Engineer Watchkeepers should have excellent technical abilities and must be able to adapt their skills to suit a range of circumstances. You’ll need to have good observational abilities and strong attention to detail. Engineer Watchkeepers must be able to prioritise their tasks and communicate clearly with colleagues.
