Dispensary Technician

A Dispensary Technician helps to prepare medications at a pharmacy. You’ll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you process prescriptions for patients. Dispensary Technicians ensure label information is accurate and you might discuss concerns or precautions with customers. A Dispensary Technician, or Dispensary Assistant, may also make sure medicines are fully stocked and stored correctly.

Dispensary Technicians should have a good understanding of relevant laws and pharmaceutical products. You’ll need to have keen observational skills and excellent attention to detail. It’s important you can communicate well and are able to follow correct procedures.
