Bricklayer

A Bricklayer builds a range of structures using bricks, blocks, pavers or stones. You might work on large projects such as buildings or residential properties or focus on smaller jobs such as fireplaces or brick walls. Bricklayers use drawings and specifications to plan their work and may work closely with other building professionals.

Bricklayers should be physically fit and able to handle the manual labour involved in this job role. It’s important that you can follow instructions and work as part of a team. Bricklayers should have strong attention to detail and be able to adapt their skills to suit individual work projects.
