Air Traffic Controller

An Air Traffic Controller oversees the movement of aircraft within a designated airspace region. You might provide information to pilots before take-off, during flights and landings and when aircraft are taxiing at an airport or airfield. Air Traffic Controllers ensure flight movements are being made safely and without interruption.

Air Traffic Controllers should have a strong focus on safety and be able to concentrate for long periods of time. It’s important that you have excellent situational awareness and can manage several tasks at one time. Air Traffic Controllers must be able to communicate clearly and remain calm during challenging situations.
