Aboriginal Dance Instructor

An Aboriginal Dance Instructor teaches cultural dance techniques to groups or individuals. You’ll show students a range of dance techniques and help get them ready for performances. Aboriginal Dance Instructors may work with people who are new to this style of dance or you might teach more experienced dancers. You might specialise in a particular type of Aboriginal dance choreography or teach more general performance skills.

Aboriginal Dance Instructors need to have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and dance. It’s important that you have strong communication skills and can work with students of all abilities. Aboriginal Dance Instructors will need to be physically fit and be able to demonstrate a range of dance techniques.
