The Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211) is for trade apprentices working under the supervision of a qualified carpenter. It’s the course needed to become a licensed tradesperson. This nationally recognised qualification teaches all the carpentry essentials you’d expect from a trade qualification — using tools and equipment, handling carpentry materials, installing/constructing flooring systems, wall and ceiling frames, roof trusses, eaves, pitched roofs, carrying out excavation and demolition work. But it also covers windows and doors, constructing timber external stairs, framing and fitting wet area fixtures.
