Formworker

A Formworker constructs and assembles formwork, which acts as a mould for concrete structures in building and construction projects. You might work on residential, commercial, or civil construction sites. Formworkers measure, cut, and assemble timber, metal, or plastic formwork to the required specifications. You’ll ensure the moulds are properly set up and reinforced before concrete is poured, helping to create strong and stable structures.

Formworkers play a crucial role in the construction industry. You’ll need to be physically fit, detail-oriented, and skilled in using hand and power tools. You’ll work closely with other tradespeople and follow safety procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of each structure.
